Projects Bulgaria in record time instal
Solea AG announces the completion of its projects Gabarevo, Chelnik I and Chelnik II projects, one the largest operational utility scale photovoltaic plants in Bulgaria.
The Projects have a cumulative installed capacity of 9 MWp. The system is a fixed-tilt ground mounted crystalline based photovoltaic plant in the Southeastern region of Bulgaria.
Solea AG was hired to supply general contracting services, which included engineering, procuring, construction and installation of the fully integrated turnkey project. Solea AG provides locally technical operating and maintenance services for the PV plant’s owner-operators for an initial defined contractual period of five years.
The construction phase was executed by Solea with flawless precision. The turnkey installation for the 9MWp project was completed under a record time of just one month. The three independent construction sites, each consisting of 3 MWp, were managed simultaneously. The physical and statutory grid connection to the local utility, ENV Group, was orchestrated within one week of technical completion and the plants were commissioned by early June.
The Black Sea projects represent another market entry success story realized by Solea AG, as it rapidly expands its international business activities. Key growth markets remain Eastern Europe, North America, South Africa and Australia.
